Q – What kind of meal plan will you create for me?

A – I create a tailored plan to your specific needs, to ensure that it provides balanced nutrition with the right proportion of macronutrients and micronutrients needed for optimal health. A customized meal plan can help you establish healthy eating habits and address dietary restrictions and allergies. It can also help save time and effort by providing a clear plan for what to eat and when, making meal prep and grocery shopping easier. This is an effective tool for achieving optimal health and fitness goals.

Q – What kind of equipment would I need for the personal training sessions?

A – I understand that everyone has different levels of access to gym equipment and will create a workout plan tailored to your unique situation. For clients who have access to a gym, I will design a program that includes weightlifting exercises, cardio machines, and other equipment available at the gym. For clients who do not have access to a gym, I can create a program that relies more on bodyweight exercises, resistance bands, and other portable equipment that can be used at home or in outdoor spaces. I will work with you to understand your fitness goals and the equipment and resources you have available, and then design a plan that is both effective and accessible.

Q – Do you coach all fitness levels or only athletes?

A – I coach people of all fitness levels and ages. I can help anyone achieve their fitness goals, regardless of their starting point. I have the expertise to design customized workout programs tailored to the unique needs, goals, and limitations of each individual client. I can help people of all ages, from teenagers to seniors, to improve their strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and overall fitness. With over a decade of experience, I have the knowledge and skills to adapt my coaching approach to suit each individual. Whether you are a beginner just starting out or a seasoned athlete looking to take their training to the next level, I can help you achieve your goals and reach your full potential.

Q – How do we set realistic goals and can you help with weight loss?

A – We will work together to set realistic goals, whether it’s for weight loss or improving health and body composition. The first step is to identify what you want to achieve and the timeline you are working with. Then, I will work with you to develop a personalized plan that takes into account your current dietary habits and lifestyle. We will help set specific and measurable goals, such as reducing your sugar intake or increasing your daily servings of vegetables and protein. It is important to be honest with me about your current habits and limitations so that the goals set are achievable. I will then work with you to develop a plan that is realistic and achievable, taking into account your starting point and what you are capable of achieving with time and effort.

Q – How often do we do check ins?

A – Check ins are done on a weekly basis using a questionnaire via email. Weekly check-ins are valuable for several reasons. Firstly, they provide a sense of accountability and motivation for you to stay on track with your goals. During these check-ins, I can review the progress made, assess what is working well, and identify areas that need improvement. I can then make adjustments to the workout program or meal plan, if necessary, to ensure that the client is on the right track. Additionally, these check-ins allow for the opportunity to discuss any challenges or concerns that you may be facing, and I can offer guidance and support.

Q – How do I know if I am doing the exercises correctly if we are doing virtual coaching?

A – I provide form checks during your weekly check ins, where you can send me a few videos of you completing your chosen exercises. Form checks are an important aspect of working with a me, as they help to ensure that you are performing exercises safely and effectively. It can help to prevent injury, as proper form is essential for reducing the risk of strains, sprains, and other injuries. Additionally, it can help to maximize the benefits of each exercise, by ensuring that the right muscle groups are being targeted and worked effectively. Form checks also help to optimize movement patterns and reduce the risk of compensations or imbalances that can lead to injury down the road. Furthermore, form checks allow me to provide personalized feedback and coaching, helping you to improve their technique and get the most out of each exercise.
